TALES OF THE AFRICAN CHILD SERIES 2 : CHILD PROSTITUTION IN DISGUISE

I just remembered a story that a cousin of mine told me about some girl about 14 years whose parents were preparing her to follow a relation whom they knew well that she takes children and young women to prostitute and make her money,i was shocked because i thought this form of slavery and child trafficking was carried out because the parents are unaware of what their kids were made to do but i was wrong.. This is how it works, she meets a parent and convinces them of how useful or lucrative sending their child abroad would be. She tells them she has a restaurant where their children can work and make money in order to send home to them, the woman sometimes pays this parents some amount of money which her victim would have to recover back to her on arrival to the designated country. In most cases, this young women whom are always taken more than their male counter part because they convince their people to believe that the females would make more money and since it was a restaurant or beauty parlour their services would be needed more than that of their male counter parts are used to traffic drugs to their 'madam's' client in the country. If this women who make their money through this means discovers the girl was good in her first trip, she most times keep her as her drug trafficking agent but in most cases the reason they are taken abroad is to be used as commercial sex workers.. Their madam tells them to make sure they recover all the money spent on them,the visa fees,their international passport,their accommodation till they can stay on their own and the money which was paid to their parents. Most of the victims were told that they were going abroad to complete their education while some of them went with their eyes open knowing exactly what they were going for. Some had to go because their parents had told them they had to help in raising their younger ones,some have become rich through this while some had fallen into dangers of all sort which they never survived... There is another case where the woman tells parents she wants to help train their child,this person might be a complete stranger according to the one i heard and have seen happen. Only for her to take the children and sell them to women who needed hawkers for their fruit or sachet water business whereas he deceived the parents to believe their children are in school and doing well... When ever she visits the parents,she gives them money which is proceeds from the sales their children make so in the end she'd tell them they were enjoying their child's hard work just in case they decided to make any trouble with her and this type of women in most cases have mouths that speak for them and connections which this poor parents can't contend with... In most cases,the children are threatened not to let anyone in their new environment know how they were conned into prostitution and they have to work a long time just to pay their madam off who would constantly be on their neck,to sustain themselves and their family who think once they are abroad it automatically guarantees them wealthy.. That harmless 'good evening ma' to that madam turned to this sore tale...
