POWER SURELY INTOXICATES

If you want to know how arrogant or abusive a person really is,just put them incharge of something or over people no matter how small the position is,he or she would just change automatically. They might begin to act like as if they were drunk or high on any substance,their countenance changes and they begin to live like different people who are too big to listen to anyone.The become lords and often times take nicknames that show their authority over everyone.

Try and put that person who acts humble and loyal to just a tiny test and see him fail woefully. Power really gets into some people's head so much that they don't even recognize if any other person was existing,they would want to be lord over everyone's life. Many people have shown an example of how power intoxicates in past times and in our everyday life.

Keep a child and tell him to look after his younger ones and give him the power to correct any of them that goes wrong,before you come back na mortar combat fights you go see for your hose.Lol
 
The only thing on the minds of these kind of people is how to get even with anyone who questions their authority,mind you before they got to that position they were everybody's friend,always smiling at everyone who cared to smile back,they were even so generous with their things and didn't mind if anyone stepped on their toes.
This people are seen every where from big positions in the society to positions as small as School Prefects, Course Reps, CLO's, Women and Men meeting presidents,Team head.
Being the eldest child of the house also gets into some heads where they try to manipulate or bend their younger ones to their own terms,ever wondered why some siblings who used to be really close fell out with each other?
For the positions where they would be elected into, they most times would never react to any silly thing people did until when they finally got hold of that position then those who opposed them becomes their first example of a 'scape goat'.

As long as a person has that thirst to always be in charge which a lot of humans posses,at any little opportunity they are given will not fail to show their prowess and lordship over all, some even make laws and ask others to abide by it. For instance,you will give them mantel of leadership for some days or weeks,before you come back they have rearranged everywhere when they are aware the position is not even a permanent one. Some will even fight you when you come back for your seat because they have so clinged to power that leaving it seemed difficult.Truly power intoxicates when it gets to the head.
