GIVE YOUR HEART A CHANCE

Now this might be deep depending on how you choose to understand it. Christy has always had this love for dark skinned men infact she virtually has a crush on almost all the dark skinned celebrities, that Denzel Washington kind of men, you know. This was always her dream 'when she would walk down the aisle with her dark skinned prince charming with royalties standing in waiting and chariots of army' and yes she also fancied the uniformed men and people from royal homes maybe too much movies and novels had taken the better of her mind. She had an exceptional taste just like she does with cloths. The funny thing is she never meet any dark skinned man in person who was attracted to her and even if she liked them the relationship usually turns out sour in the end but in her dream land lived the one whom her heart desired. She meet so many light skinned nice men whom she would have never regretted knowing but the dream in her head wouldn't let her see past their skin colour. This is the same thing a friend of mine who was obsessed with short women because according to him, as tall as he is he should be with some one who would not be so tall and because with that tall woman he would produce 'long' children and he didn't want his children over growing and that a short woman would compliment his height. LOL These two never meet those whom they had built a castle for in their hearts,not like those people didn't cross their parts but there were so many things missing from them which they got from the ones their hearts didn't yearn for. I also recall a story about a lady who strongly desired to be married to her town's man but behold who she got married to, some one from another state entirely. She didn't even meet her town's man who could satisfy her other expectation not to talk of a man from her state but she found love in the arms of another far away from her initial desire. Have you thought of why you have not had peace in that job that you took up simply because people are making lots of money from it or why you feel at ease with a certain thing or person that ordinarily your inner mind would despise on first sight? maybe it is because you overlooked other opportunities that would have been favourable and instead opted for that which you felt would be for the better and here you are filled with regrets on why you made the wrong choice and because that which you despise most is what is truly meant for you. Am not saying your desired can not come to you but when its not forth coming you can look in the directions of the available, truth is the available might be the best thing you need and not the desired and the available might even be better than the desired. So to avoid mistakes from reoccurring make your heart a little bit flexible so it can look through options it comes across,you never can tell.. Your body,soul,spirit and mind would surely be at peace with each other if you give your heart a chance to explore things beyond the way you have programmed your mind sees it.
