THE OL' DAYS

Hello Fam,am back so to say from my sabatical leave.. LOL Alot has happened this few weeks away buh i bring you a good thing to laugh about this morning. Remember when we used to run around naked dancing in the rain, when you can bath outside without shame of who might be watching, I remember when i was the mother in all those mama and papa drama, when we used empty tomatoes or milk tins as pots and sticks as stoves while we used grass and sand as food. The times when we played swe'. Am not sure thats the exact spelling,lol It was fun living in the era when we threw our fallen tooth on the ceiling so the lizard can take it and give us a new one,i remember when i met a weird girl in primary school that told us to put our fallen tooth under our pillow and sleep on it that by morning we would have money there in place of the tooth. there was no money by dawn under the pillow infact some of my friends left their own tooth all through the weekend under their pillow and by Monday morning our tooth money maker had changed school. LOL, whatever she was up to i couldn't really say but i know the were all Superstitious and probably a trick. The ol' days when we waved our hands when ever we saw that white flamingo asking it to give us white nails and take our old ones,there was alot and i enjoyed my childhood. Hope you did? GIVE YOUR HEART A CHANCE

Now this might be deep depending on how you choose to understand it. Christy has always had this love for dark skinned men infact she virtually has a crush on almost all the dark skinned celebrities, that Denzel Washington kind of men, you know. This was always her dream 'when she would walk down the aisle with her dark skinned prince charming with royalties standing in waiting and chariots of army' and yes she also fancied the uniformed men and people from royal homes maybe too much movies and novels had taken the better of her mind. She had an exceptional taste just like she does with cloths. The funny thing is she never meet any dark skinned man in person who was attracted to her and even if she liked them the relationship usually turns out sour in the end but in her dream land lived the one whom her heart desired. She meet so many light skinned nice men whom she would have never regretted knowing but the dream in her head wouldn't let her see past their skin colour. This is the same thing a friend of mine who was obsessed with short women because according to him, as tall as he is he should be with some one who would not be so tall and because with that tall woman he would produce 'long' children and he didn't want his children over growing and that a short woman would compliment his height. LOL These two never meet those whom they had built a castle for in their hearts,not like those people didn't cross their parts but there were so many things missing from them which they got from the ones their hearts didn't yearn for. I also recall a story about a lady who strongly desired to be married to her town's man but behold who she got married to, some one from another state entirely. She didn't even meet her town's man who could satisfy her other expectation not to talk of a man from her state but she found love in the arms of another far away from her initial desire. Have you thought of why you have not had peace in that job that you took up simply because people are making lots of money from it or why you feel at ease with a certain thing or person that ordinarily your inner mind would despise on first sight? maybe it is because you overlooked other opportunities that would have been favourable and instead opted for that which you felt would be for the better and here you are filled with regrets on why you made the wrong choice and because that which you despise most is what is truly meant for you. Am not saying your desired can not come to you but when its not forth coming you can look in the directions of the available, truth is the available might be the best thing you need and not the desired and the available might even be better than the desired. So to avoid mistakes from reoccurring make your heart a little bit flexible so it can look through options it comes across,you never can tell.. Your body,soul,spirit and mind would surely be at peace with each other if you give your heart a chance to explore things beyond the way you have programmed your mind sees it. A 39-year-old father of three, Ekpeyong Essien, who raped a 9 year old girl blamed his 2 sons, whom he alleged are witches, for pushing him to commit the crime. Essien, who hails from Bakassi Local Government Area of Cross River State, had on July 12, raped 9 year old Bright Benjamin, at Hawkins Primary School in the Calabar.
